Il trio protagonista di questo progetto rende omaggio ad alcuni grandi compositori/interpreti della cultura sudamericana e a ciò che questa ha fatto per l’universo tessendone il sottile filo che lega il passato al presente.
In altre parole, Paolo Fresu ha scritto alcuni testi in sardo sulla musica di Linx. Linx ha adattato alcuni testi inglesi per Pablo Milanés e Famke Sinninghe Damsté oltre a scrivere alcuni testi in olandese per Milton Nascimento.
Beytelmann ha composto ripercorrendo il mondo di Piazzolla e ha impreziosito con il suo tocco la poesia di Linx e di Fresu.
Trama Latina è in breve un tributo all'energia che bascula tra i continenti e le culture.

The trio featured in this project pays tribute to some of the great composers/interpreters of South American culture and what it has done for the universe by weaving the thin thread that binds the past to the present. In other words, Paolo Fresu wrote some texts in Sardinian on the music of Linx. Linx adapted some English texts for Pablo Milanés and Famke Sinninghe Damsté as well as writing some texts in Dutch for Milton Nascimento.
Beytelmann composed from the world of Piazzolla and embellished Linx's and Fresu's poetry with his touch.
